About Ryan

Ryan D. Green has been a resident of Manalapan Township for 21 years.  He is a former student of the Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District and a graduate of Manalapan High School.  After graduation, Ryan earned a Bachelor’s Degree in communication studies from The College of New Jersey, and a Master’s Degree in social work from Columbia University.  Ryan currently works as a school social worker.

Ryan is proud of his record of volunteerism and public service in Manalapan Township.  In 2005, he was elected to the Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District Board of Education, and he was re-elected in 2008.  Ryan served as Vice President of the Board in 2006 and 2007, and he currently chairs the school district’s H1N1 (swine flu) Task Force.  Ryan has also been an active Board member on the following committees: budget, personnel, community outreach, and shared services.

In addition to serving on the Board of Education, Ryan was appointed to the Manalapan Township Zoning Board of Adjustment and the Mayor’s Council on Special Needs in 2007.  Ryan is a former volunteer on the Manalapan Domestic Violence Response Team and a former employee of the Manalapan Recreation Summer Program.

In June 2008, Ryan married his wife, Judith, and the two now own a home in the Yorktowne development of Manalapan Township.  Ryan is looking forward to serving the residents of Manalapan as a member of the Township Committee.
